Athens, Zografou Polytechnic Campus
Free admission – From 5 pm to 11 pm
The National Technical University of Athens, consistent with its appointment for the twelfth consecutive year, is once again associated this year with the great European celebration of Research “European Researchers’ Night” and is organizing the Researcher’s Night at the National Technical University of Athens and for all the Universities and Research Centers of Attica, always at the forefront of the revolution of knowledge and innovation.
For the first time – after the successful holding of the Researcher’s Evening at NTUA for eleven consecutive years in the emblematic Averof building of the historic Patission Polytechnic complex with a massive attendance of thousands of people on the last Friday of each September – by decision of the Board of Directors, this year the National Technical University of Athens opens its gates and welcomes the general public, the citizens of Attica, at the Zografou Polytechnic Complex on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 5 pm to 11 pm.
Especially this year, in addition to the great celebration of Research, which will take place in the Central Square in front of the NTUA Library and Information Center, visitors will have the opportunity to visit a characteristic Laboratory for each NTUA School at will.
The main objective of the Evening is to promote and highlight the work of researchers and the importance of their role in science and society to the general public. The Researcher’s Evening at NTUA aspires to contribute to the promotion of the research work of the Technical University in Greek society and in the world, providing the unique opportunity for thousands of people to see simultaneously, for one day only a year, important innovative research achievements from all the Schools of the Technical University, the Universities and Research Centers of Attica, as well as school units. The public, the citizens of Athens will have the opportunity this year to interact with the researchers, participating in experimental demonstrations, computer simulations, educational activities, competitions, surprises and events.
Volunteers play a central role in the successful holding of the Researcher’s Evening at NTUA.
