Interdisciplinary Courses
In addition to the courses offered distinctly in each school, it is also important to provide teaching the issues of sustainability and the environment at the interdepartmental course “Environment and Development”. The course directly relates to the Sustainable Development Goals, providing students with an extensive understanding of environmental issues and sustainability practices. This course is a prominent example of how NTUA integrates sustainability issues in various scientific areas as an interdepartmental undergraduate course, covering, among others, thematic units such as the legal, social, economic, political and cultural components related to sustainable development and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration for the preparation of targeted papers.
