RES at Lavrio Technology Park
Along with the creation of sustainable infrastructure at the Zografou Polytechnic, studies and relevant upgrade works are also being carried out at the Lavrio Technology Park. Indicatively, the installation of a solar trigeneration system with heat storage in cement (Fig. 18) is mentioned in the framework of the Tes4Trig project. The system is based on a high-temperature parabolic collector solar field (up to 400°C) and 120 kWth), which will provide the heat required for the operation of a hybrid Rankine Organic Cycle in conjunction with an ejector cooling cycle, covering both thermal/cooling and electrical needs in laboratories of the technology park.
